First-Day-of-School Jitters

If you had asked me when I graduated from college 7 years ago what sort of higher or continuing education might be in my future, Mandarin school would not be on that list.

To be fair, I’m pretty sure everything I ended up doing in the years after college would have surprised me 7 years ago. I never thought I’d ever wear a suit to work, and I definitely didn’t think I’d work at a craft brewery for almost a year. Hippie Van was going to save the world from climate change in her Birkenstocks and cotton skirts, remember?
